This is the first song I've taken the time to record in a long time. It's a bit rough because it's in garageband, but none the less, here you go.
You Never Change

odds and ends
Warning, this is going to be totally scatterbrained...
So the first thing I want to say is that Garmin is lame. You would think when you pay $200 for a GPS that would include free map updates, but it doesn't. So we have a GPS map in our GPS from 2007 which has started directing us to gas stations that are no longer in operation. So we decided instead of paying $70 for a new map of North America, we'll just deal with it and buy a map of Greece instead later on.
Second thing... I spent a lot of time revamping out ministry blog: www.sgwm.com/spencer
So please check it out, we should be posting an update either tonight or tomorrow.
Third: Peruvian food: YUMMY! We went to Farmer's Market today (p.s. if you live in Southern California anywhere near Torrance you HAVE to check out the Farmer's Market at Wilson Park... it is pure awesome, and you can find on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm) and had some Peruvian Arroz Chaufa with chicken in it. It was $8 and it fed all four of us. So good.
Fourth: My problem is I love to snack, that is why (besides In'N'Out) why I have gained 10 lbs (around 4 kilos) since being back in the states. There is always food around my parents house, and when we were living in the castle, that was NOT the case. There was only food at the three meals. So yeah, my new goal is to stop snacking on whatever during the day.
Those are the odds and ends for today. We are leaving for Tahoe early Saturday morning!! Woop woop!

We got a letter...
from the lawyer today. It said that they are collecting all of the information and medical records they need and gave us a case file number for the case of: Spencer, Travis v. Roche Laboratories
We'll see what happens, it's actually signed by one of the lawyers, with a pen, not a pre-printed signature, so that is nice. We have to send an international wire to Hungary next week to pay for Travis to get two months of medication from Sárbogárd sent to Torrance. We also need to figure out the whole colonoscopy thing.
Ksena is at the movie theater right now with Mimi and Pawpaw (my parents) seeing Toy Story 3... she has been walking around taking about "Tory 3" and "Buzz Light" all day... she is so stinkin' cute! Kati went to sleep early because we tried giving her dairy today and it gave her the worst diaper rash she has ever had!! We gave her some tylenol and put her to bed because she didn't want anyone to touch her (it is so hot here!).
I know guys read this blog, so warning... this next sentence is about bras. I found a REALLY nice strapless bra in my size today at Macy's, and since they were having their one day sale, it was only $20... if you need one, seriously, go check out their sale, amazing!!
Well.. time for date night with Trav. Have a great weekend!

All Star Game!
Yesterday was a huge opportunity for us, as hard core baseball fans. We got to go to the All Star game for freeeee. And even though Roy Halladay Jr only pitched two outs, Torii Hunter was the only Angel's player (out of two... Yay Jered Weaver, a "Dirtbag" from CSULB) that saw play time, and the American team lost for the first time in 25 all star games... we had a blast :)! It was sooo hot though, whew. It made me wish I had already been able to afford prescription sunglasses because I got a headache from squinting. But I won't go off on a rant about money again. I know God is teaching me a lesson I need to learn... sigh, I wish I could learn it a different way, but I know I can't, or He would let me. Anyway... pictures!!

Kati's Party
Well... here are some pictures of the party today! I think it went pretty well, and Kati really had a fun time. This will definitely be a great last birthday party in the States for a while for the girls to remember, and since Kati is so little, we took plenty of pictures for her to look at as she gets older!! Enjoy!
The hippo and bird are made out of sculpting clay that I had left over from our wedding cake toppers five years ago... it was still good!
Getting ready to sing to the birthday girl! Ksena and Dimitri held the wind off so we could light the candle. Kati wouldn't let go of her new hippo.
Yummy! Little purple hippo cake for Kati to destroy, her first taste of cake and icing.
Purple!
A picture with Mommy and Daddy.
The cake is pretty much gone...
Playing after a wardrobe change with Ksena, Nathanial, and Uncle Brandon.
Right now everyone is taking a nap after a long day (Mimi and Pawpaw included)! Travis had to get up at 5:30am to be at the park at 6:00 and by that time he got the LAST three tables near the playground. The other people said they had gotten there at 5:00am... talk about crazy. But I couldn't sleep, so I'm posting pictures for your viewing enjoyment. It was a really great day. Praise the Lord for our little Katienne and for all of our wonderful friends and family!
